During my time in Bali, I was introduced to Stella's Child by a dear friend, Alex. Stella's Child, founded in 2013, is a foundation based in Bali, Indonesia that supports Indonesian youth, many of whom live within the orphanage system, as they prepare to step into independence and the world of work. The program equips young people ages 12 to 19 with mentorship, life skills, and career development opportunities, helping them build confidence, create sustainable futures, and break cycles of poverty for themselves and their families.
Alex and I together led a mentorship class for young girls, where I had the chance to speak about creativity, confidence, and believing in your own path. While teaching the class, I realized I was encouraging not only them, but also a younger version of myself who needed to hear those same words. Those moments became part of the early inspiration behind Margara del Sol.
Moments like these are deeply connected to the heart and soul of this brand. Now, at launch, having the opportunity to support Stella's Child, a foundation that played such a meaningful role in my personal and creative journey, means more than I can express.
A percentage of all sales from the debut Bali Collection will be donated to Stella's Child, as they continue supporting Indonesian youth.
